Unlike conventional alarm clocks that merely signal at a preset time, this innovative tool employs gentle vibrations to rouse you during REM (Rapid Eye Movement) sleep, a phase characterized by lighter sleep and heightened brain activity.

What is REM? 
REM Sleep is recognized by researchers as a phase where light sleeping occurs, typically toward the end of the sleep cycle. This stage is marked by brain activity that mirrors wakefulness, making it an ideal time to awaken.

How it works 
Wake Up Well intelligently identifies the optimal moment to wake you. Traditional alarms often jar users from deep sleep, leading to grogginess and a disoriented state upon waking. In contrast, Wake Up Well gently nudges you awake during REM phases when your body is naturally preparing to rise.

By detecting slight movements during REM and within a user-defined 'wake-up window,' Wake Up Well optimizes the timing of your morning awakening.

To create an alarm, launch Wake Up Well on your watch. Select "New alarm," then scroll to choose your desired wake-up time, which will be the latest time for the alarm activation. Swipe right for additional options, including setting the wake-up window based on your sleep pattern. After configuring your preferences, swipe left to return to the main screen, then left again for confirmation.

The ‘Wake Up Well’ complication can be added to new watch faces for quick access to your next alarm time.
